Thanksgiving
Monday, November 1st, 2010Traditionally, Thanksgiving was a time to reflect upon God’s good provision at the end of the harvest season. After preparing the ground, sowing the seeds, and reaping the crops, the people expressed thankfulness to God who caused the seed to grow, the rain to fall, and the sun to shine.
Today, people are mostly thankful for the day off, a football game, the start of the ‘holiday’ season, and an excuse to eat way too much.
What are you thankful for this year?
